Home Town Gym for Seniors (Walking & Running Club)

The Obama Presidential Center's Home Town Gym program for seniors, operated in partnership with Peace Runners 773, offers a welcoming space for older adults to stay active, connected, and engaged. This free program features a 10-week walking and running club starting in August, plus additional one-off wellness experiences in the fall. Rooted in the Center's mission of community, service, and lifelong learning, the senior programming creates opportunities for participants to remain active contributors to their communities while enjoying social connection and personal growth.
